Two minutes. That’s how long most people spend watching a video of the internet. Two minutes and it’s over. But in those 120 seconds is hours of work. Every moving graphic, every shot, and even the colors were carefully planned, recorded, and edited to create an engaging, memorable video.

Here’s what production looks like behind the scenes from idea to video.

Phase 1: Pre-Production

This is where you get that great idea. You want to promote your senior living community or company, generate excitement about an event, or share a message. This is where people turn to the Avamere MarCom Department for help.

This phase begins with a scoping meeting. We talk about your needs and what you hope to see in your video. Our team then digests these details and produces a scope outlining everything from timeline to deliverables.

Phase 2: Production 

This is the fun part. This phase includes shooting all the video needed. In an interview-style video or scripted video, you get in front of the camera.

In an animated video, we take a script and transform it into an exciting animation to tell a story or share a message.

Phase 3: Post-Production

This is the last (and usually the longest) phase of video production. Post-production includes editing, approvals, and publishing.

We can share videos with the world through YouTube, social media, and the company website. We also share internally through the Insider.
